The Role

Reporting to the Head of IT, you'll be the primary owner and subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring the platform is reliable, continually improved and aligned with business needs.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining ERP support, systems improvement, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

You'll work across multiple departments to improve how our systems support the business and help deliver future enhancements, integrations and technology initiatives.

Approximately 80% of your focus will be dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/Navision, with the remaining time supporting wider business systems and applications across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

ERP Ownership & Support

• Act as the lead Business Central expert across the business.
• Manage day-to-day ERP performance, support and optimisation.
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify long-term solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to improve system effectiveness and user experience.

Systems Improvement

• Lead ERP enhancements, upgrades and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes and streamline workflows.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Support testing, deployment and user adoption activities.

Project Delivery

• Coordinate ERP and business systems projects from concept through to implementation.
• Work with external partners, software vendors and developers.
• Ensure projects are delivered successfully and aligned with business priorities.

Business Partnership

• Build strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Provide guidance on ERP capabilities and best practice.
• Support users through training, advice and system improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Microsoft Navision.
• Experience supporting and improving ERP systems within a commercial environment.
• Understanding of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Logistics.
• Experience delivering ERP projects, upgrades, integrations or system enhancements.
• Strong business analysis, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, APIs or systems integrations.
• Experience working with third‑party software providers and technical partners.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for making systems work better for users and the business.
