Freelance Product Photographer

Join the Paladone Creative Freelancer Network. Are you an experienced photographer with a portfolio of high-quality lifestyle, product and commercial photography? Do you enjoy working with exciting consumer brands and licensed products? We are looking to build a network of talented freelance creatives who can support Paladone and WeCool Toys on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis as business demands require.

Freelancers will work on-site at our Shoreham-by-Sea office, using our in-house studio facilities alongside the wider Media team. Our studio space and capabilities are continuing to develop and expand, so we're looking for adaptable creatives who are comfortable working within a growing in-house production environment. Applicants will therefore need to be able to reliably commute to our Shoreham-by-Sea location. This is not an employed position. Successful applicants will join our approved freelancer network and may be engaged for specific projects, campaigns, product launches and periods of increased workload.

The Opportunity: We're seeking talented freelance photographers to support our Media team in producing high-quality commercial photography for Paladone and WeCool Toys products. The primary focus will be lifestyle photography for digital, e-commerce and marketing use. You'll work within agreed project requirements, brand standards and deliverables, while taking ownership of the creative and technical execution of assigned shoots. Freelancers may also provide additional support with product and packaging photography where required. Assignments will be offered on an ad-hoc basis depending on project requirements, capacity and business needs.

Typical Project Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality lifestyle photography featuring Paladone and WeCool Toys products.
• Take ownership of shoot set-up and execution, including set design, lighting, composition and styling within agreed project requirements.
• Edit and retouch photography to a high commercial standard.
• Provide product and packaging photography support where required, following established shot lists and photography guides.
• Work on-site alongside the Media team and respond to feedback throughout the production process.
• Deliver final assets in agreed formats, resolutions and file structures.
• Store and organise RAW files, working files and completed assets on Paladone's internal servers.

What We're Looking For: Ideally, you'll have:

• Proven experience in commercial lifestyle and/or product photography.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant consumer product photography.
• Advanced editing and retouching skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw.
• Strong knowledge of studio photography, lighting and professional camera systems.
• Experience using DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Our current studio kit primarily uses Canon DSLR and mirrorless systems.
• A strong eye for composition, lighting, styling and commercial presentation.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is beneficial, but not essential.
• Experience working with Mac operating systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently, take creative ownership of shoots and meet agreed requirements and deadlines.
• The ability to reliably commute to and work from our Shoreham-by-Sea office.
