Hours: Saturday 1100-1900 & Sunday 1000-1800
Pay Rate: $16.65/hour
Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and respond to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies quickly and efficiently. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people under stress or in need of medical assistance. It is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods.
Job Duties:
- Ensure the safety and protection of property, persons, and information
- Patrol property on foot
- Effective communication
- Monitor CCTV system
- Respond to calls for service promptly (may include running)
- Attention to detail
- Report writing, deploying and collecting equipment such as radios and keys
- Manage high stress and complex decision-making
- Knowledge and enforcement of Trespass to Property Act (TPA) R.S.O 1990
- Enforce mall Code of Conduct in compliance with TPA
