Site Description: London Health Sciences is a large multi-site healthcare organization serving patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, providing acute care, specialized medical services, and research facilities. With continuous 24/7 operations and high volumes of patients and visitors, the hospital requires a consistently clean, safe, and accessible environment that supports patient care, infection control, and efficient day-to-day operations.

Position: Mobile Patrol Supervisor

Site: London Health Science Centre - VH

Status: Full Time

Hours: Monday - Friday (06:30 - 14:30 hours)

Pay Rate: $18.54/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on assigned shifts, you will work full time shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
  • You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
  • You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.
  • In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • You will be driving and patrolling the hospital grounds in a marked company patrol vehicle responding to all incidents on hospital property.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid G or G2 Class Driver's License with preferred driving experience of 3 years.
  • Must provide a clean drivers abstract.
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C (WSIB Approved).
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
