We are seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical and electrical experience to join a team undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance works within a busy manufacturing environment. This role will be primarily focused on powdered bag filling lines, with Erkomat fillers, ABB robotics and the associated conveyor transport and wrapping systems controlled by a bespoke SCADA system. Experience and familiarity with these or similar systems is essential for this role.

You will have experience of working in a similar environment involving hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, belts, chains, conveyors, single and three phase electrical, sensors, relays, fault finding etc together with experience of working with PLCs and SCADA systems. You will be used to working safely and have a solution focused approach, a good communicator and team player.

You will be used to working to clear KPIs and providing ongoing reporting to the senior team. This is on a single site with work Monday-Friday with the requirement for some PPM work to be undertaken out of hours and planned in advance. You must have a can do approach, the ability to work under pressure, be proactive and have a strong desire to prevent issues wherever possible while maximising production uptime and availability.
