King David High School is seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and inspiring Teacher of Jewish Studies who is also responsible for designing, leading, and implementing non‑classroom based Jewish education, fostering a positive Jewish identity, and nurturing a vibrant religious and cultural atmosphere within a school or community setting. The successful candidate will primarily teach Key Stage 3 Jewish Studies, with the opportunity to teach GCSE and A‑Level Religious Studies for the right candidate.

The Department
The Jewish Studies department is a warm and collaborative team, supported by colleagues with expertise in Tanach, Gemara, Halacha, Jewish philosophy, ethics, examination teaching and informal education. Alongside formal lessons, the department runs a rich programme of Jewish informal education, including:
- Chessed and social action initiatives
- Chagim celebrations
- Educational trips to Israel and Poland
