Overview We are seeking an Israel Educator to join the JIEP Team for four days a week for an initial 1 year fixed term casual contract. The primary purpose of this role is to design, implement, and deliver a comprehensive Israel education programme at JFS, fostering a deep connection between students and the history, culture, identity, and modern-day thriving state of Israel. The role sits within the informal education team and will involve collaboration with JNF UK to create meaningful, engaging, and consistent educational experiences that infuse the school with a love for Israel and strengthen students’ connection with the land, both in its historical context and its modern-day achievements. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the programme’s development and execution, ensuring it aligns with the school’s vision and educational goals while promoting the mission of JNF UK. You will collaborate closely with a team of colleagues, and the school will provide full support to help you succeed in your role. Responsibilities Design, implement, and deliver a comprehensive Israel education programme at JFS. Foster a deep connection between students and the history, culture, identity, and modern-day Israel. Collaborate with JNF UK and the informal education team to create meaningful, engaging, and consistent educational experiences. Take full responsibility for the programme’s development and execution, ensuring alignment with the school’s vision and educational goals while promoting the mission of JNF UK. Work with colleagues to deliver high-quality educational experiences and receive necessary support to succeed in the role. Qualifications and Expectations Experience in education or related field preferred; ability to design and implement curriculum is desirable. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners. Commitment to fostering student engagement with Israel’s history, culture, and contemporary context. Ability to manage a programme across a one-year term with multi-day weekly commitment.
