Energetic and engaging educators needed, with lived experience of the Jewish religion, to lead hands-on action -packed assemblies and workshops in a wide range of non-Jewish school settings.
Successful candidates need to be adaptable and friendly, with great classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine commitment to interfaith work as well as embedded knowledge of Judaism, Jewish festivals and life cycle events are essential.
Experience of working with primary-aged children is important; teachers, youth workers, teaching assistants or other relevant paid employment may make you suitable for the role.
Paid training will be given. Having attained a sufficient standard ,a day rate of £275 + will be given.
Applicants need to be able to drive, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, fit and healthy and have a good sense of humour.
The role involves full days or half days of workshop delivery and would suit someone who likes flexible working hours. Generally, a working day runs from 7.30-4.15 pm.
Parents who wish to work part-time, people with portfolio careers, or those wishing to work flexibly would find the hours appealing.
