Senior Site Chemist in Brownhills (West Midlands) In this role, you will play a crucial part in the business by handling Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste assignments, ensuring compliance with regulations and site procedures. Your responsibilities will include: – Verifying incoming waste consignments and ensuring accurate paperwork. – Conducting safety checks and sampling waste for lab analysis. – Inspecting and accepting waste following relevant guidelines. – Managing waste paperwork and ensuring proper labeling, storage, and processing. – Supporting colleagues, maintaining a safe work environment, and promoting environmental practices. – Handling spills, adhering to COSHH regulations, and enforcing health and safety protocols. To excel in this role, you should possess: – HNC or Degree in Chemistry or a related field. – Experience in the Waste Industry and SAP proficiency are advantageous. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office. – Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities. – Data-driven decision-making and a proactive approach to driving team performance
