We are currently recruiting 18 Standby Firewatch Operatives for a long-term project running approximately 12 months, working 7 days a week.

Shift Patterns:

  • Dayshift: 07:30 – 15:45 (9 positions)
  • Backshift: 15:00 – 23:00 (9 positions)

Pay Rates:

  • Dayshift: £13.71 per hour
  • Backshift: £17.82 per hour

Role Overview:

  • Carrying out standby firewatch duties on site
  • Monitoring hot works and ensuring site safety compliance
  • Supporting operational teams and maintaining safe working practices

Requirements:

  • Previous firewatch or site experience preferred
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
