We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a busy manufacturing operation in Newton Aycliffe. This is a key role responsible for maintaining quality standards, supporting new product introduction, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including:
- Capability studies
- Control Plans & PFMEA
- SAR controls
- Product confirmation (PT)
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Experience with NPI processes and quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving ability and experience with root cause analysis
