CNC Press Brake Operator – Teesside We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in Teesside. You will be responsible for operating CNC press brake and metal-forming machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components for a wide range of customers, including major blue-chip organisations. Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Shift work * Full training and ongoing support provided * Opportunities for development and career progression * Applicants must be aged 18 or over for health and safety reasons Key Responsibilities * Safely operate CNC press brake and associated metal-forming machinery. * Set and operate machinery to produce components to drawing specifications. * Calculate and configure bend allowances for stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications. * Load and unload materials and components safely and efficiently. * Create, adjust and modify multi-fold CNC programmes. * Select the correct punches, dies and tooling for each job. * Use precision measuring equipment to check dimensions and ensure accuracy. * Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and health and safety. * Identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement within the production process. Skills & Experience * Previous experience within engineering, manufacturing or metal fabrication. * Previous CNC press brake experience preferred. * Good understanding of CNC machine operation. * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. * Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment. * Reliable, punctual and proactive approach to work. * Takes responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work produced.
