Salary: £45,000
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Shetland - HQ)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor financial performance and identify variances, providing clear explanations
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors where required
- Improve and streamline financial processes and reporting systems
- Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance across the business
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a management accounting or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Shetland
