Lathe Operator – Northallerton We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lathe Operator to join our client\’s manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating manual and/or CNC lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities: – Set up and operate manual or CNC lathes – Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints – Choose suitable tools, materials, and speeds for machining – Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments – Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality – Perform regular maintenance on machines and tools – Record production data and maintain documentation – Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams – Adhere to safety procedures and uphold a clean work environment – Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
