Location: Newton Aycliffe

We are a well-established engineering company seeking skilled Plater / Welders to join their team on a full-time basis.

Hours & Pay:

  • 44.5 hours per week
  • £17.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating steel and metal components from engineering drawings
  • Cutting, assembling, and fitting materials to required specifications
  • Using hand tools and fabrication machinery safely and effectively
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
