About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established steel manufacturing business based in Brompton-on-Swale. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of CNC machinery within the production facility, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery efficiently and safely as part of a rotating production team
- Complete and follow daily CNC processing checklists
- Monitor machinery performance and identify maintenance requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency
- Liaise with equipment manufacturers and engineers regarding machine breakdowns and servicing
- Work closely with the Works Manager, Supervisors, and wider production team
- Assist with staff training where required
Machinery Experience Preferred
- Voortman blast, saw, and drill lines
- Kaltenbach Profitline fittings machinery
- Peddinghaus saw/drill machinery
Candidate Requirements

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within a steel fabrication or heavy engineering environment

- Overtime and weekend working may be required to meet production demands
