Carry out plating work in a fabrication shop environment.
Read and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
Measure and mark out metal plate accurately.
Prepare and fit plate components for assembly.
Check alignment and dimensions against job requirements.
Use tools and equipment safely and keep the work area tidy.
This role would suit someone with experience working in different fab shops who takes a careful, organised approach to plating work. You will need to follow engineering drawings, check measurements and work accurately when preparing and assembling plate components. A reliable attitude, clear communication and attention to safe working practices are important for carrying out the role effectively.
