About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Graphic Motion Designer to help us grow and engage our audience at Paired. In this role, you will produce high-quality static and motion ads for social media to attract new customers to Paired. You will primarily work within performance marketing at the top of the funnel, creating assets for paid acquisition, while also contributing across the customer journey, from brand campaigns to organic social content. You will be responsible for both graphic design and motion design execution, trying out new ideas, experimenting with creative formats, and iterating on results to create unique, high-performing content for our channels. This is a great opportunity to have an immediate impact in a growing startup and help shape the ongoing development of the Paired brand. This role will work day-to-day in the Performance Marketing team, sit within the Design team, and report to the Head of Design.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality static and motion creative for paid acquisition, including UGC-style video.
- Create static visual assets across brand campaigns, lifecycle channels (e.g. email), social media, and screenshots, adapting work appropriately for different channels.
- Actively contribute to the discovery of new, original ideas for creative briefs to test a variety of concepts and identify winning creatives.
- Collaborate closely with Performance Marketing, Growth, Brand, and Design teams to deliver effective, on-brand creative across the customer journey.
- Maintain high standards of craft and quality, ensuring all work consistently meets Paired's brand guidelines and creative standards.
Requirements
- Strong graphic design fundamentals (layout, typography, colour, hierarchy) alongside the ability to create engaging motion design and animations.
- Experience producing both static and motion assets for paid ads and brand marketing projects, using established brand guidelines.
- Advanced skills in relevant design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite; Figma as a bonus).
- Strong creative judgment and curiosity, with a passion for experimentation, iteration, and performance-driven creative.
- Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to support image and video creation and scale creative output.
- Strong knowledge of current trends in social media content.
- A valid UK working permit or passport (no sponsorship requirements).
- Able to commute to the London office at least twice a week.
