PAIR is hiring a Video Editor to join the growing learning team. This is a hands-on production role. You’ll own the video output that keeps PAIR's learning content current, high-quality, and moving at the pace AI demands – mastering the tools at the heart of our workflow, including Screen Studio and Synthesia, to produce the content our learners rely on. Beyond the edit suite, you’ll get opportunities to get out on the road to capture customer stories and promotional content, helping tell the story of PAIR's impact in the real world. We’re looking for someone with a great eye, a bias for action, and a genuine curiosity about AI tools. You’ll work directly with our Head of Learning Design day-to-day, with the trust and autonomy to ensure every video we ship reflects the quality PAIR is known for.

- Location: London, full-time (Tuesdays in the office — non-negotiable)
- Salary: £40k–£45k + stock options (depending on experience)
- Type: Full-time
- Reports to: Head of Learning Design
- Target start date: May 2026 (the earlier the better)
About PAIR
PAIR helps organisations pair the best of human and artificial intelligence. We work with governments, enterprises and ambitious organisations to move beyond AI hype and into everyday, high-impact use. We do it through individually personalised AI training and adoption support, so people don't just "know about AI" but build repeatable ways of working with it. We're fortunate to work with customers including PwC, the Ministry of Justice and The Crown Estate, and our work has been featured in The Times and the FT. We're a small, high-calibre team. In 2026 we're scaling enterprise roll-outs, building a product-led growth motion, and making PAIR the place where AI practice lives and evolves inside organisations.
What you’ll do
You’ll take video briefs from script → edited and polished → live on platform, working closely with the Head of Learning Design and the wider PAIR learning team. Your focus will include:
- Updating PAIR’s video content: Record and edit screen studio walkthroughs of PAIR’s learning offering and publish using Synthesia. This will require quickly getting up to speed with Screen Studio and Synthesia if not already familiar – and staying current as these tools evolve.
- Synthesia ownership: Over time, become PAIR's internal expert on Synthesia – pushing the bar on what AI-generated video can do and finding new ways to apply it across our content offering.
- Client-facing production: There will be opportunities to shoot talking heads and promotional content with clients for customer success stories and marketing material.
As an AI learning team, we practise what we preach. The person we hire for this role needs to be genuinely curious about AI tools and actively exploring how they can make their video work faster and better.
What we’re looking for
Non-negotiables
- Editing quality: You’re a strong video editor with a demonstrable eye for what "good" looks like – pacing, clarity, visual quality.
- Pace: You begin working on new edits within 1 working day, with the ultimate goal of supporting the learning design team to ensure PAIR content updates are live within 3 working days of release. PAIR moves quickly and you’ll need to move with it.
- Direct working style: You work directly with the team that briefs you. Communication is clear, proactive and doesn’t require chasing.
- AI curiosity: You’re either already familiar with tools like ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude, or you’re genuinely hungry to learn – this is imperative to recording engaging content for PAIR customers.
Nice to have
- Existing experience with Screen Studio and/or Synthesia.
- Familiarity with AI tools in a professional workflow.
- Experience shooting and directing talking heads or documentary-style interviews.
How we work
You’ll join the team every Tuesday for our collaboration day in our London office. You’ll report to our Head of Learning Design who is ultimately responsible for the quality of our video content and ensuring PAIR keeps pace with the speed of AI advances. We move quickly and iterate based on real usage. We favour clear thinking and simple communication over heavy process. We care about the craft of what we ship, while being honest about constraints and trade-offs.
PAIR is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
