We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Account Manager to join our growing team in the UK. As a team member in our diverse Sales & Marketing department, you will use your skills and passion to make a significant contribution to advancing medical care.
Region: Southern-West of England (without Wales)
Tasks:
- Acquiring new customers, supporting the existing customer base through regular visits, and continuously maintaining and expanding the customer relationship network
- Identifying key decision-makers among customers and developing appropriate strategies
- Strategic visits in the context of key account management and thus expert support for the entire sales process for assigned customers, from acquisition to product explanation, quotation preparation, contract conclusion, and the ordering process
- Coordination and implementation of projects for customers in the context of medical and scientific consulting in cooperation with the European medical team
- Participation in conferences and events
- Cross-functional collaboration with the European team, e.g., in the area of Marketing, Sales and Medical
Your profile:
- Commercial, with a pharmaceutical background
- Training or certification as a pharmaceutical representative/consultant
- Professional experience in hospital sales is an advantage, as is knowledge of the processes and working methods in hospitals and, if applicable, purchasing groups
- 4-5 years’ experience in customer acquisition and project management
- Residence in the area/region
