Family Solicitor – Divorce & Finances

We are looking to appoint two Family Solicitors to join our established Family team in Kidderminster.

The successful candidates will have experience in divorce and financial matters and will ideally have experience of, or an interest in, undertaking Legal Aid work.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team with a strong client base and a varied caseload.

The role

You will advise clients on a range of family matters, with a particular focus on:

• Divorce and separation
• Property and financial disputes arising from relationship breakdown
• Negotiation and settlement
• Court proceedings
• Children matters where appropriate
• Legal Aid cases

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients.

We are looking for

• A qualified Family Solicitor with relevant experience
• Strong experience in divorce and financial matters
• Experience of Legal Aid work, or a genuine interest in developing this area
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• A confident and empathetic approach to client care
• The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to the wider team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills

We would particularly welcome applications from solicitors who are looking to develop their Family practice within a supportive and established team.

Two positions are available.

• 23 days holiday plus UK bank holiday; plus ex gratia days (birthday and Christmas)
