We are looking for an enthusiastic Family Paralegal to join our established Family team in Kidderminster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal or someone looking to develop a career in Family Law.
You will work closely with our solicitors and wider Family team, assisting with a varied caseload and providing an important role in delivering excellent client service.
The role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting solicitors with Family Law matters
- Supporting the team with divorce and financial matters
- Assisting with children matters
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Conducting legal research
- Preparing bundles and court documentation
- Liaising with clients and third parties
- Maintaining accurate file records
- Attending to administrative aspects of cases
- Assisting with Legal Aid administration where appropriate
We are looking for
- Previous experience in Family Law would be advantageous
- A law degree, LPC, SQE qualification or relevant legal experience would be desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- A genuine interest in Family Law
- A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
