Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager required for a Garden Centre near Salhouse, Norfolk. Our client is the 7th largest Garden Centre group in the UK and represents a new wave of specialist horticultural and leisure retailers who are committed to offering best quality products and service as a matter of course. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Restaurant & Cafe Manager to oversee the refit and expansion of all food service areas at an established garden centre in the South Nottingham area.
As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of all food service areas. This role requires an individual who is 'hands on', appreciates the importance of excellent customer service, and can lead and motivate a dedicated team of loyal staff. A passion for working with fresh and locally sourced produce is essential.
Key Skills:
- Previous catering management experience within a retail environment
- Experience working in a high volume, high quality restaurant
- The ability to control stock, profit & costs, budgets, and wastage
- Excellent people, organisation, and communication skills.
