Evening Replenishment Supervisor required for a warehouse near Thetford. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Department Manager or Team Leader to join a well-established team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a national retail organisation at their fast-paced distribution centre.
As the Replenishment Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the replenishment team during the evening shift, ensuring stock is available in the correct locations to support picking operations and maintain warehouse efficiency.
- Leading by example, driving productivity, accuracy, and safety while supporting the development of your team.
Main Duties Include:
- Supervise and coordinate evening replenishment activities across the warehouse.
- Ensure stock is replenished accurately and efficiently to designated pick locations.
- Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment priorities to support operational demands.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor productivity and quality standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Liaise with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational continuity.
- Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members.
- Support inventory accuracy through effective stock handling and reporting of discrepancies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience working within replenishment, stock control, or warehouse operations.
- Good organisational and planning abilities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse setting.
- Experience using warehouse management systems and handheld scanning technology.
- Desirable Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
- Experience within a retail distribution environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance management.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency projects.
