Our passionate team is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education and care. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education. You will lead a team of Early Years Educators, foster children's development, and build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.

The core requirements for the job role are:

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the Ofsted Inspection Handbook, and Local Authority requirements, ensuring these are effectively implemented across the nursery.

Ensure that all statutory guidance and safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times.

Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, encouraging active involvement in their childs learning and development.

Lead, inspire and support a team of Early Years Educators, promoting professional growth and high-quality practice.

Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that fosters childrens well-being and learning.

Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

Accurately record and track childrens progress and development, ensuring information is shared effectively with parents, carers, and relevant professionals.

Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice, team collaboration, and implementation of best practice.

Essential Criteria

Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification

Experience in a nursery/ pre-school setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
