We are looking for an experienced, client-facing Project Manager to join our growing special effects and fireworks company and take responsibility for delivering a wide range of exciting, high-profile projects across the events industry.
\n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with clients, managing projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, and being on-site to see the finished result come to life.

🎆 What you’ll be doing
\n
You’ll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, including:
\n
- \n
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Developing and managing project plans, timelines and budgets
- Attending client and site meetings and conducting site visits
- Assisting with sales quotations and project proposals
- Producing Risk Assessments & Method Statements
- Coordinating logistics, equipment, crew and transport
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, venues, production companies and other stakeholders
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally, on time and within budget
- Managing the on-site delivery of events and displays
- Problem-solving and making decisions in a fast-moving live events environment
- Working closely with our technical and operational teams
- Supporting the development of new business opportunities and client relationships

No two projects are the same, and the role will involve a mixture of office-based planning and on-site event delivery across the UK and potentially internationally.

👤 Who are we looking for?
\n
We’re looking for someone with previous project management experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
\n
Experience within the events, entertainment, production, sporting or live events industries would be an advantage, but it isn't essential if you can demonstrate strong project management experience from another sector.
\n
You should be:
\n

- An experienced project manager with a proven ability to deliver projects successfully
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident dealing directly with clients
- Commercially aware and comfortable managing budgets
- Experienced in producing quotations and managing project costs
- An excellent communicator
- Strong at logistical planning and problem solving
- Comfortable attending site visits and working on-site
- Able to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure
- Confident coordinating multiple teams and suppliers
- Flexible and willing to work around the demands of the live events industry

An interest in sport would be an advantage, given the significant amount of work we undertake within the sporting world, but again, not essential if you possess the right skills.
\n
🎓 Training
\n
Full training will be provided in relation to our specific products, systems, equipment and the technical aspects of the role, but previous project management experience is essential. We are looking for someone who can bring strong project management, organisational and client-facing skills to the business from day one.
\n
📍 Location & travel
\n
This is a full-time position based at our HQ near Salisbury (SP5).
\n
We offer some flexibility to work from home where appropriate, but the successful candidate will need to live within a sensible commuting distance of our HQ.
\n
The role also involves travel for site visits and event delivery, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
\n

Competitive salary, dependent upon experience.
