We are currently recruiting for a Sales Associate to join us in our brand new Womenswear pop-up, located within John Lewis - Cheadle. We are looking for someone to join us on a Fixed Term Basis of 12 weeks, working Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Ideally, you will have availability across both weekdays & weekends.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic candidate to join us in continuing the success within our partners’ retail stores by managing customer needs, building and maintaining customer relationships and focusing on new sales opportunities, all through excellent communication and a positive approach within a premium and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assisting and interacting with customers in a warm and courteous manner.
- Engaging every client in an interaction that results in the highest level of client satisfaction that positively impacts both sales and service.
- Utilise exemplary selling skills to effectively identify customer needs and close sales.
- Stock management including stock takes, deliveries, visual merchandising and replenishment.
- Driving sell throughs on slow sellers.
- Resolve or escape all customer issues.
- Creation of a detailed review of the business and product at the end of each season, including good competitor awareness of product and sale periods.
- Building key relationships with store managers and teams (as appropriate).
- Support events and store pop ups, with an understanding of sales targets/plans.
- Previous retail experience or relevant customer related experience (i.e. hospitality, etc.) denim experience & department store experience preferred.
- Excellent fashion & retail operations knowledge.
- Proven track record in achieving sales results.
- Availability to work retail business hours including lates, weekends.
