What You Will Be Doing
In this role, your primary focus will be on the internal, behind-the-scenes work that powers successful Google Ads campaigns. You will focus exclusively on managing and executing Google Ads campaigns across various platforms, such as search, shopping, performance max, display, and video, without any client-facing responsibilities. Under the guidance and full support of a PPC Account Lead, you will play a key role in optimizing campaign performance, conducting detailed analysis, and contributing to the growth of our clients\’ accounts.
Core responsibilities will include
- Assist in the planning and structuring of account setups to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute and manage Google Ads campaigns, including ad copy creation, keyword targeting, and bid management.
- Execute campaign monitoring and analysis, implementing optimizations in line with the account strategy and support from the PPC Account Lead.
- Conduct keyword, competitor, and audience research to enhance campaign performance.
- Collaborate closely with the PPC Account Lead to identify growth opportunities and implement strategic optimizations.
- Utilize Google Analytics and other analytical tools to draw insights and inform campaign decisions.
- Stay updated with the latest Google Ads trends and best practices to continuously improve account performance.
- Support the team in managing bids and budgets, and making data-driven campaign adjustments.
- Participate in internal strategy meetings to align Google Ads initiatives with broader marketing objectives.
- Prepare mid-month and end-of-month reports on campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations for accounts assigned.
- Document all campaign adjustments and performance updates by maintaining a detailed and accurate change log for each client account.
Your performance will be measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) for each client. We rely on your initiative and proactive approach, with the full support of the team, to accomplish your goals.
Who We\’re Looking For
We are seeking a diligent and driven PPC Account Executive with a proactive attitude to join our team.
Experience
- Proficiency in Google Ads
- Familiarity with SEMRush/Spyfu or similar paid tools for keyword research
- Ability to optimize Shopping Feeds and manage Shopping Campaigns
- Experience with Google Analytics/Google Tag Manager
Required Skills
- Highly organized and works well with diverse brands and projects
- Self-management skills in a remote work environment
- Proactive approach to learning, asking for support from the team/lead
Nice, but not essential
- Familiarity with Shopify is a plus
- In-house, agency, or remote work experience
