As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) joining our team in London, you will be part of a global SDR Team who are at the forefront of driving our business growth by generating quality leads and providing market intelligence to acquire new business. Your role will involve delivering comprehensive sales research to uncover new opportunities for PageUp. You’ll utilise creative and innovative strategies to identify and engage with new prospects, to directly influence new Annual Recurring Revenue and business growth. You will manage targeted campaigns and marketing activities to prospects within your vertical, raising brand awareness and resulting in new sales opportunities. Through deep market research, you will become an expert in your field and will be able to facilitate team-wide knowledge sharing and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilise various tools and techniques to identify potential leads and conduct personalised outreach through emails, calls, and social media and other creative means of prospect identification and outreach for your assigned territory.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, qualify them based on established criteria, and determine their fit for our solutions.
  • Work closely with our Account Executives and the wider sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and provide detailed insights about each prospect to enhance the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system, acting as a Salesforce CRM superuser.
  • Support the Marketing Team to attract interest in events, webinars and conferences and Press Releases from the planning stage right through to execution and follow up.
  • Regularly review and refine outreach strategies based on feedback and performance metrics, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporating them into your approach.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar SDR role, business development, or lead generation. Experience in the SaaS HR/Talent Acquisition industry is beneficial.
  • Results-oriented, you are driven by targets and excel in cold calling and high-volume outbound sales activities.
  • An excellent communicator, you’re able to build rapport quickly with your client-centric approach, engaging with a diverse range of prospects at all levels.
  • You’re a self-starter, with a track record of successful sales development, showcasing your ability to take initiative and drive results.
