Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 2.00pm – 4.00pm (subject to annual review)
Paget Primary School is looking for a reliable, proactive and practical Site Assistant to join our team and help maintain a safe, clean, welcoming and well-maintained school environment for our children, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and bring a flexible, positive approach to a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of our school site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming school environment.
- Support site security, including checking doors and windows.
- Complete routine site and health and safety checks.
- Set up rooms, furniture and equipment for school activities.
- Keep buildings, communal areas and outdoor spaces presentable.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards and security concerns.
- Assist with deliveries and moving supplies.
- Support the day-to-day running of the school site.
- Follow school policies, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
