We are expanding rapidly as a platform for Digital Operations Management using AI/ML and Automation and growing our adoption by Development, IT, Customer Service, Security, and other teams across the organization.
PagerDuty is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As Business Development Representative, you will report to a Manager of Sales Development and as part of a dynamic team, you'll collaborate closely with our talented Account Executives, fuelling their pipelines with promising leads and conquering territories together.
Key Responsibilities:
- Value Selling: Focus on highlighting the unique PD value and benefit our products and services can provide to a customer. Effectively communicate PagerDuty's business value proposition to evaluate interest in making a purchase.
- Sales Effectiveness: Establishing, overseeing and maintaining genuine connections with customers. Consistently achieve sales goals, maintaining a proven track record of success.
- Sales Execution: Ensuring that one’s own and other’s work and information are complete and accurate; careful preparation for meetings and presentations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers and build relationships.
- Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple leads and opportunities effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.
- Passion for technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior sales development experience preferred.
- Experience using salesforce.com preferred.
- BA/BS Degree.
PagerDuty is a flexible, hybrid workplace. We embrace and encourage in-person working as an integral part of our culture. This role is expected to come into our Moorgate office 1-2 times per week.
