You the Store Manager will ensuring maximum profitability by, achievement of sales targets, control of costs, cash and stock. Successfully developing the trading potential by effectively managing all of the available assets the team, the space, the products and position. Maintaining exceptional customer service whilst working within company policies and procedures., * Achieve or exceed sales targets.

Ensure you and all team members are aware of the stores daily, weekly and period sales targets and their own personal sales targets.

Be aware of best sellers and monitor stocks to meet demand.

Action promotions in store effectively and on time.

Market the brand externally to increase brand awareness of the brand and products increasing footfall into the store.

Provide feedback and recommendations to your Area Manager on any stock and sales issues that are affecting your store to make improvements.

Optimise product sales by maintaining an in-stock position of all sizes available on the shop floor.

Ensure customers are the highest priority at all times building strong customer relations.

Manage and work to resolve promptly and effectively customer complaints.

Be aware of all competitors’ activity and pricing policies and report this to your Area Manager on a regular basis.

Take corrective action to reverse poor performance maintaining an action plan to maximise sales.

Tills should be cashed up daily and monies taken banked

Be responsible for banking the stores takings daily

Ensure all staff are fully till trained

Manage the staffing hours to cover busiest times and days off sufficiently far ahead to ensure good staff management. Recording this information for both your Area Manager and HR functions.

Interview, recruit and appraise staff.

Motivate, train and develop all staff to provide Menswear tailoring expertise and maximise productivity.

Routinely coach sales advisors on all aspects of customer service and selling skills focusing on product knowledge.

Develop staff to manage the store in your absence.

Review your Sales Advisors on a weekly basis, their individual sales, performance praising, good performance and addressing shortfalls.
