Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Supporting a business income stream across our UK & US operations, core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Preparation and analysis of month-end results, including succinct, informative commentary
-
Conduct regular operational meetings, to review and forecast financial performance
-
Work with operational staff to improve:
-
Group profitability
-
Policies and procedures
-
Understanding and use of Group ERP system
-
Ensure all tasks are completed in line with the group month-end timetable
-
Preparation of Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues
-
Preparation of formal budgets and reforecasts for income stream
-
Providing weekly and monthly analysis to budget holders
-
Continued review and development of processes
-
ERP system support, development and maintenance
-
Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant role
-
Strong experience in month-end accounts preparation, planning, budgeting & forecasting
-
Experience in producing insightful business analysis
-
Experience in analysing and interpreting large, complex data sets
-
Strong IT skills including advanced in MS Excel
-
Knowledge of Power Query, SQL and BI would be advantageous
-
The ideal candidate would have experience in a multi-ledger organisation
