Working in a fully remote role, this local government backed organisation is looking to recruit an Adult Social Care Project Administrator to provide support with the area of Learning, Disabilities and Autism for an initial three month fixed term contract., The Adult Social Care Project Administrator will enable delivery of Partners in Care and Health (PCH) continuous improvement projects to support councils to prepare for legislative changes and inspection requirements in three areas:

Mental Health Bill -Implications for community learning disability and autistic people services, peer-to-peer support to reduce health inequalities for people with a learning disability (CQC assurance) and best practice models for helping young autistic people move into adulthood. This role will:

Co-ordinate council led steering groups

Collate best practice examples

Arrange workshops and briefings for councils and draft text for promoting reports/tools arising from these projects (CQC Assurance and Ofsted SEND inspection).

Support projects to deliver the workstreams in the Programme, through producing papers, arranging meetings and events, taking follow up actions as required, and liaising with relevant stakeholders etc.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Adult Social Care Project Administrator will ideally have previous exposure working in a similar role within local government/housing/adult social services. Ideally you would have delivered remote projects and managed a complex workload, preparing plans and meeting deadlines and milestones.
Excellent communication skills are essential for this position (written and verbal) along with an understanding of adult social services.
The Adult Social Care Project Administrator will pay a pro-rata salary of £45,000-£48,000 depending on experience.
