We currently have a vacancy for a trainee patent attorney with experience of artificial intelligence, to support our growing client base in this sector. You will have, or be expecting, a good honours degree or PhD in a computer science or engineering discipline which has included modules focussed on aspects of AI / machine learning. Some areas of particular interest are: expert systems, knowledge management, machine-learning algorithms / models, speech, language and character recognition, chatbots and virtual reality.
Trainees at Page White Farrer benefit from a structured training programme with a choice of completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, gaining exemption from the UK foundation exams, at either Bournemouth University, Brunel University London or Queen Mary University of London.
