Job Description
Joining as an AAT Technician, or Part ACCA Accountant based in the firm's Wellington offices, you will be taking on the preparation of financial statements for a wide range of limited sole trader, partnership and limited company clients. You will also have involvement in personal and corporate tax compliance work and help to manage juniors, reviewing bookkeeping work and providing guidance. Your responsibilities and involvement with clients, wider accounting and tax project work will increase over time as you develop within the team and role. You will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professionals around you, combined with study support on offer for those looking to pursue further qualifications.
The Successful Applicant
For this AAT Technician, or Part ACCA Accountant role, you will be AAT qualified, or studying for AAT, ACCA or other qualifications. Alternatively, you may have developed your career entirely through experience to date. Most importantly, you will have a career background developed within the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size with at least two to three years' experience or more, within the sector preparing year-end accounts, tax and providing other services for clients. You will be looking to progress within your career and be seeking an opportunity within a leading firm of chartered accountants that offers you a path to develop.
