Job Description
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Support employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
- Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising, interviewing and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures
- Produce HR reports and management information as required
- Coordinate learning and development activities
- Manage new starter, probation and leaver processes
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Support HR projects and wider people initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Hr Advisor' should have:
- Previous experience within an HR Advisor or HR Generalist position
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified, or working towards qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
