  • Win and manage own portfolio of clients.
  • Provide industry leading insights, solutions, and advice to build the firm\’s reputation and client base.
  • Promote the firm\’s products, services, and image to generate new business opportunities and enhance its reputation.
  • Create and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Directors, and staff.
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning to deliver an increase in revenue and profits.
  • Recruit, develop and manage a high performing team who deliver a great service to clients and meet their billing targets.
  • Create a high-performing culture where people live the vision, mission and values and act to improve if not.
  • Hold responsibility for client relationships up to Β£600k of revenue to ensure the best possible value, advice and quality and compliance for clients.
  • Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team to help motivate and inspire people to higher performance.
  • Set performance measures, review performance, and take effective action to improve when off track.
  • Develop workforce planning and workload management processes that ensure the correct staffing levels to process workload.
  • Develop people, processes, systems, and practices to raise productivity and output quality.
  • Be a strong role model for the organisation\’s values and standards to develop a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and maintain the highest standards of technical knowledge and expertise for self and others.
  • Measure the service provided to clients and implement improvements to deliver industry leading service to clients.
  • Complete own portfolio of client work to provide industry leading insights and advice.
  • The Successful Applicant

    A successful VAT Associate Director should have:

  • Working closely with the leadership team, you will bring strong corporate sector VAT consulting experience; be commercially savvy, and with the people skills to have an impact with both your clients and internally.
  • You will work on clients both nationally and locally and be excited about playing a real part of the firm\’s ongoing success.
  • The role can be based in any of my clients offices in the UK nationally.
  • You will need UK VAT consulting experience and be enthusiastic by the type of work the team is getting involved in and the prospects on offer.
  • Prior VAT Housing Association and/or public sector focus useful but not essential.
