About Our Client: Our client is a highly successful and growing business that has been established over 50 years with a turnover of circa £20 million, offices based in Twickenham.
Job Description: As the Management Accountant based from Twickenham you will be responsible for:
- Produce monthly Headline EBITDA figures in a timely manner using Excel.
- Accurate monthly Management accounts/EBITDA in timely manner using Excel.
- Preparation for Finance Director review and discussions.
- Management Accounts fully supported by balance sheet.
- Post monthly Management Account journals, accruals, prepayments etc.
- Investigating unexpected stock variances in Cost of Sales.
- Executive commentary on financial results.
- Reporting to and working closely with Finance Director.
- Daily/Monthly Reconciling: Manage general ledger accounts including accruals, prepayments.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset register.
- Daily stock reconciliation report and investigating differences.
- Reconcile and maintain all stock nominals including GRNI.
- Daily Cash Sales reconciling for 5 sites, liaise with contacts.
- Daily processing including posting of all bank receipts and payments and preparing bank reconciliations.
- Monthly VAT reconciling.
- Providing various financial information to Finance Director.
- Responsible for month end close of all modules.
- Providing support to other members of the finance team.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT return.
- Responsible for managing import declarations.
- Preparation of information for annual audit.
- Remaining forward thinking and suggesting improvements to processes.
