The firm acts for a very wide-ranging industry client base of corporate OMBs, SMEs, and wide-ranging directors, HNWI's, and other private clients. You will be looking to lead, grow, and develop the firm's tax offering and department. There is a clear path on offer to progress in this growing firm.
Job Description
You will join the firm as a Tax Director based from their Taunton offices where you will oversee compliance and also take a lead on the provision of complex tax planning and advisory services across a wide spectrum of personal, corporate, or mixed tax planning, tailored to your career background and areas of expertise. A key part of your role will also involve mentoring, leading, and growing the team, aiming to drive further growth and development of tax services in this firm, working closely with the firm's leadership team. You will have clear opportunities to progress in your career.
The Successful Applicant
You will be operating at Tax Director level or a similar senior level in your career and will be qualified as ACA / ACCA / CTA / ATT / STEP, etc., as a tax-focused professional. You will have specialized in corporate, personal, or mixed tax, delivering compliance and advisory services. Your background will include experience within Top Tier, Mid-Tier/Top 50, or large, medium, or small independent accountancy practice firms.
