Job Description
The key responsibilities in this role:
- Facilitate the Accounting closing process, ensuring smooth month / quarter / year-end procedures and drive continuous process improvements.
- Reconcile performance reporting (full fair value view) to IFRS and local standards while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Post unrealised derivatives and accruals for realised transactions.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Data team to enhance transparency and consistency across data streams and support the development of automated processes.
- Analyse accounting data to identify process or system-related issues, providing transparency to management.
- Provide support for accounting-related projects.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
- A full and recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACMA/ ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Pro-active attitude and team-oriented approach.
What's on Offer
This position can pay up to Β£65,000 (depending on experience), and has a very strong benefits package including performance related bonus and excellent pension. This requires 3 days on-site in Swindon and the client has free parking.
