Job Description
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess stock.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Analyse demand forecasts and create supply plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with various teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to optimise supply chain processes.
- Identify and resolve any supply chain issues to minimise disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports on inventory and supply chain performance.
- Support the implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supply Chain Planner should have:
- Previous experience in supply chain planning or a related role within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems, such as Excel and supply chain management platforms.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of procurement and inventory management practices.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
