Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyse financial data to assist with decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and reports.
- Assist with audits and liaise with auditors when required.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
