About Our Client
My client is a leading global manufacturer.
Job Description
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to oversee the global business operations.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and monthly financial forecasts for P&L and balance sheet.
- Manage the monthly consolidation process and ensure compliance with UK statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and corporate policies.
- Partner with the UK corporate office on tax-related matters.
- Guide and support both internal and external audit activities.
- Drive enhancements in month-end closing, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and compliance procedures.
- Contribute to achieving both the short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Provide assistance with ad-hoc requests from the division or corporate leadership.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience in U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance
- Manufacturing experience with a strong grasp of financial reporting, inventory management, and overhead rates
- Prior UK controlling experience and team management
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are a must
