Job Description
- Working shifts - 2 days and 2 nights and 4 off
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Support the implementation of new machinery and technology upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues when required.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering - HNC or equivalent
- Experience working within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in Leigh.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in engineering and manufacturing.
