Job Description
- Plan and deliver internal audit assignments in line with agreed audit plans and priorities.
- Review business processes and controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Gather evidence through document reviews, data analysis and discussions with relevant colleagues.
- Document audit findings clearly, setting out practical recommendations for action.
- Prepare concise audit reports that give stakeholders a clear view of key findings.
- Track agreed actions and follow up on progress to support timely completion.
- Work with Accounting & Finance colleagues to understand processes and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate audit documentation to provide a clear record of work completed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Senior Internal Auditor' should have:
- Experience of planning and delivering internal audit assignments.
- Ability to assess processes and controls in a clear, practical way.
- Experience of gathering and documenting audit evidence.
- Confidence producing clear audit findings and written reports.
- Ability to analyse information and identify areas for improvement.
- Experience of tracking audit actions and following up on progress.
