About Our Client
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Staffordshire area. You will manage a diverse portfolio of audits for owner-managed businesses and SMEs across a variety of sectors, leading assignments from planning through to completion. The role involves overseeing junior team members, ensuring high-quality audit delivery, and developing strong client relationships within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Job Description
- Lead audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Prepare audit files, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with audit standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members throughout audit engagements.
- Liaise directly with clients to build strong relationships and address technical queries.
- Identify potential risk areas and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with partners and managers to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA / ACCA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience managing people and leading audits.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and assurance.
