Job Description

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of private client tax cases, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide expert tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities tailored to client needs.
  • Review and approve tax returns prepared by junior team members.
  • Support the team in responding to HMRC enquiries and investigations.
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices within the tax department.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff to enhance team capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, particularly in private client tax.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored tax solutions.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
