Job Description
- Operate recycling plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor plant performance and production output.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues.
- Ensure materials are processed to required quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping standards across the site.
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams.
- Complete operational records and documentation accurately.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Plant Operator should have:
- Experience within a manufacturing, recycling, waste, quarry, or industrial environment.
- Ability to operate machinery and processing equipment safely.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and fault-reporting experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach to shift work.
- Mobile plant licences would be advantageous.
