Job Description
The Finance Director will:
- Lead all aspects of financial management, planning, and reporting.
- Drive M&A activity: evaluate targets, build financial models, support negotiations, and lead due diligence and integration.
- Develop scalable systems, controls, and processes to support growth.
- Manage banking, funding, and investor relationships.
- Provide commercial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 5-10 years post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in M&A, either from a Corporate Finance / Transaction Services background or within a PE-backed / acquisitive SME.
- Commercially sharp with strong modelling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, excited by building something significant.
- Collaborative team player, able to work closely with senior leadership and investors.
